Multi-currency

The system handles multi-currencies (up to 35) along with two simultaneous currencies. Transactions can be conducted in any desired currency and are automatically expressed in the currency of origin along with two pre-defined base currencies. This has proved to be extremely useful in situations were the local currency is not stable and subject to constant fluctuations. All major system reports can be printed in the currency of origin and/or the bases currencies.

Multi-user

The program operates under Novell, Windows or Unix and allows for an unlimited number of users accessing the same files simultaneously.

Security

All transactions are subject to security level and password control. The system provides access authority according to the user’s pre-defined password and level of security. Users are granted authority, by the system manager, to view, print or enter data for all transactions and chart of account setup according to pre-determined priority. 

Multi-fiscal years operation

Users may change the accounting year they wish to operate within without having to exit and re-enter the system. A mere change of date input will allow access and transacting within the indicated year. This includes un-posting, amendment and re-posting. All operations that had been previously affected after that date will automatically be updated.

Profit/Cost Centers

The system is capable of supporting multiple profit/cost centers. This would allow the classification of departments and other business units.

Backup & Restore

Users can perform back-ups and restore operations without having to exit the program. These operations can be performed without the knowledge of DOS commands and file names to be worked on.

Report viewing mode

Reports, by request, could be viewed either in Browse mode (file viewed as is), in Screen mode (Report viewed on screen as would be printed) or in Print mode ( on a printed document).

Search Facility

Pop up screens appear on request throughout the system operation representing related full names based on input of only part of the requested name.

Data Export Facility

Integration of system files is possible with most popular spreadsheet under windows applications either through direct link or via export files.

Structured Query Language

The system has been developed under FoxPro version 2.6 offering the user with minor computer knowledge the capabilities of generating customized reports without referring to a computer expert.
